A DEM, is a digital data file containing terrain elevations for ground positions at regularly spaced horizontal intervals. They are used for generating 3D graphics, general visualisation and terrain analysis. DEMs are required if you need any of the following:
• Height information for maps, points or profiles • Ortho-rectification of satellite or aerial images • 3D visualisation or terrain analysis

Affordable mineral exploration mapping using ASTER satellite imagery. DEM generation at various scales for visualisation, logistics, quantity assessments and terrain analysis. Spectral analysis and geological interpretation.
Generated from Very High Resolution imagery with narrow-baseline (unconventional) stereo geometry, i.e. much narrower than from conventional (60% overlap) stereo-geometry, requiring NO ground control and using a revolutionary new sub-pixel based phase-correlation algorithm.
